MPA MISSION STATEMENT The purposes for which MPA is formatted is to constitute a unified voice of the paralegal profession in the Mid-South area; to advance, foster, and promote the paralegal profession and the concept of paralegals; to provide a communications network among paralegals and other members of the legal community in the Mid-South area; and to advance the educational standards of such profession. The Association is not formed for pecuniary or financial gain, and no part of its assets, income or profit is distributable to, or inures to the benefit of, its directors or officers except to the extent permitted under the Not-for Profit Corporation laws of the State of Tennessee.
